The first zip line ever in the United States is on the side of Haleakala Volcano on the Island of Maui. Here is a riders’s-eye view of the longest of their 6 slides. All the other runs have you landing on a simple wooden platform. This one has a rolling ladder rig which can be dangerous for the employee, but perfectly safe for the rider.
